✨ Experience Life in the Heart of the Osa Peninsula ✨

If you dream of adventure, sustainability, peace, and connecting with wildlife, you’ll love joining us on our remote slice of paradise in Costa Rica.

I’m Cindy, originally from Canada, and since moving here in 2012 I’ve fallen in love with this beautiful country. My partner, Brayner, is a Costa Rican entrepreneur, and together we’ve created a home and lifestyle surrounded by nature on the Osa Peninsula. Our property is part of a biological corridor of Corcovado National Park — known as the most biologically intense place on Earth. It’s not unusual to spot monkeys, coatis, or colorful birds right in our garden!

    🌱 Life on the Farm
We grow fruit trees, vegetables, and medicinal plants while enjoying a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. Our days often include harvesting fresh produce, making our own natural remedies, or experimenting with sustainable processes like producing oil, flour, dried herbs, and even chocolate.

    👩‍💻 What We Do
I run a nature and adventure tourism company from home, designing tours across Golfito and the Osa Peninsula. While it’s exciting work, the computer side of things often keeps me indoors when I’d rather be enjoying our land. That’s why we’d love support from volunteers with digital marketing, photography, and videography — especially as we launch a brand-new Medicinal Plant Tour on the property!

    🌿 Your Experience Here
As a volunteer, you’ll get the chance to:
-Help us share our story through creative digital work
-Walk the trails with me while picking fruits, vegetables, and herbs
-Learn from our team: Jenkins (our medicinal remedies guide), Rolbin (gardener specialized in organic agriculture), and Reyes (maintenance expert with plenty of local knowledge)
-Get hands-on with sustainable projects and discover how to make traditional remedies, natural oils, dried herbs, chocolate, and more

We’re doing our best to live the dream here in our little paradise — and we’d love to welcome you to be a part of it. 💚

Travelers will have the chance to truly immerse themselves in the Costa Rican way of life, surrounded by rainforest, wildlife, and sustainable living practices. I can recommend some of the best tours in the Osa Peninsula — and on some of them, even offer discounts.

Wildlife encounters are part of daily life here. From the house, it’s common to see monkeys, coatis, toucans, and many other species, and I’ll be happy to help you spot and identify them. The property also has more than 2 kilometers of garden and rainforest walking trails.

You’ll also be welcome to join me in hands-on activities such as picking fruits and preparing fresh organic juices and meals. You can also discover a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants among our 400+ edible identified species growing on the farm.

This is not only a cultural exchange, but also an opportunity to learn about sustainability, organic farming, and everyday life in the Osa Peninsula, while enjoying an authentic connection with nature.

    Help

There’s always something meaningful to work on here — whether it’s digital tasks or hands-on projects around the house. We encourage you to share your interests and strengths so you can contribute in ways that truly add value to our projects.

Most of the help I request is related to Digital Marketing, including:
    -Website & SEO (WordPress, Divi)
-Videography & Video Editing (using drone, GoPro, multiple lenses, stabilizer, Adobe Premiere Pro)
-Writing & Reviewing Texts (tour descriptions, blog posts, web content)
-Social Media Content (captions, visuals, reels). I would especially love to host an influencer who creates high-quality content.

I’ll work alongside you, making the process both fun and rewarding.

Our home is a two-story house surrounded by lush rainforest. You’ll have a private room with a double bed on the second floor, with views of the garden and forest. We live in the same house and will share the same bathroom.

The kitchen is in a separate building just in front of the house, while the chicken coop is located behind it — so you’ll truly be immersed in nature and farm life.

We welcome only non-smoking, non-alcoholic, mature, clean, and respectful adults.

    What else ...

You’ll be living on a peaceful farm, about a 30-minute mostly flat walk to reach the main road, where you can catch a colectivo (shared transport) or bus into town. The nearest bus stop is 2.5 km from the house, and taxis can also come directly to the property if needed. From the bus stop, it’s just a 15-minute ride to either Puerto Jiménez or La Palma, the main villages, where you’ll find everything you might need.

The closest grocery store is 3.5 km away, and the nearest beach is 5 km from the house.

Many fresh fruits and vegetables are grown right here on the farm, so you’ll often have nature’s pantry just outside your door.

Puerto Jiménez offers a variety of services including grocery stores, fruit and vegetable stands, banks, a hospital, pharmacy, cafés with great food and WiFi, restaurants, beaches, and boats to Golfito.

Our place is perfect for those who love adventure, peace, and quiet, away from the crowds — an ideal setting for nature and animal lovers. The farm has all the essentials: electricity, potable water and WiFi.

We’ve hosted many digital nomads and travelers who enjoyed both the tranquility of farm life and the adventures nearby. There are walking trails through the forest on and around the property, and many of our guests book and enjoy activities such as tours to Corcovado National Park, boat trips in the Golfo Dulce, cultural tours, and more during their stay.

A Peaceful Lifestyle, Early Mornings Included Brayner and I live a simple, grounded lifestyle close to nature. We share our space with farm and wild animals who make sure no one sleeps in. We go to bed early and wake up with the sun, and we kindly invite our guests to follow a similar rhythm. With no neighbors in sight, the nights are calm and peaceful — until Coqueto the rooster wakes everyone up. And just when you think you can drift back to sleep, the howler monkeys hit the “snooze alarm.” This peaceful, early-to-rise routine is part of what makes life here so special. 🌿🐓🐒

We’re happy to welcome campervans at our property, just 5 km from our home. You’ll only need to come by once a week to connect with us and the project, while the rest of your work can be done remotely. This setup gives you the perfect balance — contributing your skills while still enjoying the freedom and lifestyle that Costa Rica offers.
